accomplished I found an apartment!
It's in Oakland, about ten feet from Berkeley, and three blocks (or 27 seconds by car, according to mapquest) from a friend from high school! It's a one bedroom 6-month sublet, so I will have my own place and my very first apartment (that 2-month stint in Boston after high school just doesn't count).
I am very excited and am throwing a party for myself. In the form of my "party all the time" playlist and a 6-pack, for me and the 5 people I am staying with. Life is tough (and a bit lame) in the real world!
In other news, my mom is visiting for the next week, and I don't have to work my shitty temp job.
